You will find offered here a combination of understanding and compassionate support coupled with the plan that I used to get free and stay free from a lifetime (over 60 years) of personal experience with many kinds of abuse perpetrated by many people. The plan that I created for myself and worked very carefully was absolutely successful. I have now been free and safe for over 20years. I add a disclaimer here. I have no degrees behind me but I guess you could say that I graduated with honors from the University of Hard Knocks. If you ask what qualifies me to reach out to you and to help you, I will answer every time its the experience of the abuse I suffered, the protection from the hand of God and the call on my life and the years of maintaining the success of freedom. Domestic Violence Shelters played a big role in my escape and journey. I hope you stay and look around and come back to visit any time. I'm still working on this site so there are going to be changes and more services offered. For my Spanish speaking friends, if you need some translations, they will be available upon your request.
Your bridge to hope and healing
At Your Bridge to Hope, I understand the journey through abuse, specifically sexual assault and domestic violence. Drawing on over 60 years of personal experience, I offer a guiding hand to help you find and maintain freedom. My mission is to help the abused get free safely and stay that way and to empower survivors to lead lives of fulfillment, knowing their value and potential to even help others. I'm here to walk with you as you rediscover strength and peace and God's plan for you.
Hello. Let me introduce myself. I am Maggie, a woman who endured many kinds of abuse perpetrated by many different people for over 60 yrs. I know and I understand. I created a plan for myself to get free and stay free. I want to share with you what worked for me. Unfortunately, there are no promises that my plan will work for everyone but it is a good plan and is certainly worth a try. I will share with you things you need to know to make your own plan successful. Please note my disclaimer...I have no degrees and am not licensed however, on the "about your bridge" page you will find my testimony and what qualifies me to try to help you.
Speaking engagements
Invite me to share powerful stories of resilience and hope, igniting understanding and motivating change within your community or organization. I bring a message of survival and thriving after abuse. I will also share "the plan" and answer questions. I would be happy to speak to churches, schools, offices, special events and more. 9-week bible study
There is a 9 week bible study on this subject and there is no fee to participate. If there is enough interest, I can lead a group on zoom. Send me a message as to your interest and I will email you with the details. Feel free to use the "contact" form.
Starting is sometimes the hardest part but hang in there and come here often. In time you will see the path more clearly.
Do you remember when you were a child and you fell and scraped your knee? What happened? The wound had to be cleaned out so it could heal properly. It was painful but important to the healing process. Have you looked in the mirror lately? Hey! You survived and you can again.
